I've been trying to upgrade my Lenovo T420 and after the download of the image has. T420 and Windows 10 upgrade. Have not provided a Wireless Display driver. Install Lenovo ThinkPad T420s laptop drivers for Windows 10 x64, or download DriverPack Solution software for automatic drivers intallation and update. ![]() Two months ago, I upgraded my T420 to WIN 10 Pro and after only one week, I reverted back to WIN 7 Pro. Installation was easy but it took at least two hours to complete. Once installed, everything in WIN 10 seemed to run faster. All of my software worked fine except for one, an old version of MS Money that I still use frequently. Since MS Money is no longer available, I looked into buying Quicken but didn't like the reviews from users that previously had MS Money. The other issue was the fingerprint reader was unable to work properly. However, a few days ago I found a fix for MS Money. Also I've read that for the T440 and newer models, Lenovo stated to remove the fingerprint reader software because the drivers are included in the WIN 10 upgrade. So I just reinstalled WIN 10 and am happy to say EVERYTHING runs fine. This time, installation only took 1.5 hours. Before you start, make sure you know your Windows password. You will need your password to log in. Your fingerprint reader, if you have one, will not initially work. After logging on, go to MS Hello, which is located in the Settings menu and you can easily set-up your fingerprint reader. I hope this helps you. Hello everyone I've been trying to upgrade my Lenovo T420 and after the download of the image has been downloaded, the machine restarts, tries to boot into the Win 10 installation and then crashes sending me to the Win 10 repair screen. I've read a bunch of forums with the same issue and I've stripped the machine almost of everything, just leaving the SSD, the LCD panel and the keyboard/mouse and still the machine crashes. Anybody has any idea why this might be happening? I'm really frustrated about this upgrade, every other machine I've done it has been super smooth but this one won't budge. Thank you Best regards. The best operating system for intel hd 3000 is windows 8.0 since it has wddm 1.2 support. Under windows 8.1 which is wddm 1.3 the intel hd 3000 (wddm 1.2) is working in compatibility mode. Therefore the performance decreases. Wireless display runs fine. Under windows 10 which is wddm 2.0 intel has not produced any intel hd 3000 compatible driver. Lenovo what have you done to fix windows 10 compatibility with intel hd 3000??????????????????????? Have you produced a driver to support your laptops???? In addition intel has failed to update openGL 3.1 to openGL 3.3 (unlike linux driver) and has failed to add openCL 1.2 GPU driver support. For the above reasons I will stop purchasing intel integrated (IGP) products. There is not enough support from intel nor from laptop manufacturers. How to download and update Lenovo T420 drivers?
